Comments: God did not make a person gay, you made that choice. God's plan was and still is man and woman. The Bible does not speak of gay marriage, but it does say it is a unnatural act. ...God did not create man for man or woman for woman and say choose and have fun. He create man then woman. Does God make drug addicts or killers, or thiefs. We make the choice to sin and live in that sin. But when you live in a selfish lifestyle of your own lust it is you not God that condons it.
Response: This is the classic ignornant ramblings that true Christians have come to expect from radical false Christians. They are the very reason that this site was created. Much like their belief that the universe is only 6,000 years old, despite a myriad of science, they continue to have a problem grasping reality. It has been proven that homosexuality is linked to genetics and NOT freedom of choice. Who in their right mind would "choose" a lifestyle that would subject them to discrimination and bigotry? People usually know from around the age of 5 that they are attracted to individuals of the same sex. How could you possibly learn or "choose" that behavior at such a young age? All you can do with these hate mongers is just take them for what they are, ignorant. Sick people like these will always have followers just as Adolph Hitler did. Sadly, they are barely able to run their own lives and yet seem to find time to dictate ours. Thankfully, God will be the true judge, not the false Christians.
Comments: Okay, I don't like that site at all...I think that it points out a lot of wrong facts in what a true Christian is. Is it a Cathlioc site? Because they tend to believe that being a "true christian" is all about good works...Def. NOT true AT ALL! So yea...Thats what I think of that site.
Response: People like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson have done more to turn people away from Christ, and that is the ultimate sin. Christianity was never about hatred. Christ was a living example of that. Try reading James 2:14, 14 "What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?" As for facts, most of the links are straight from the Bible. You will have to argue that with someone other than me.
Comments: So what is the point of posting the site? To tell how to be a true Christian or to debate the age of Joseph and Mary and call Joseph a pedofile (sp)? So, according to the site, Mary was 12 when God planted Jesus in her womb? Are you saying God is a pedofile too??? I am just trying to understand here.
Response: The age part that I posted was more of an interesting fact that I came across. Since there is so much histeria in the US over this type of thing, I was really surprised by that piece of history. You never see paintings of Joseph and Mary that portray their ages accurately. If you do the research and/or talk to your pastor, and I have done both, you will find out that was the norm back then. This was more of a "Wow" fact that I wanted to share and I was certainly not trying to infer any negative opinion regarding Joseph, Mary or God. That was not my intent. And by the way, Muhammad was 53 when he married a 9 year old girl.
